Lubegard Engine Flush and Protect Pack is mild enough for engines considered high mileage, and the treatment contains LXE to reduce engine temperatures and minimize friction and wear. Lubegard will save fuel, provide a smoother, quieter and cooler engine and increase engine life. Oil filters can typically remove contaminants up to 25 microns, and that's with a great filter. However, the most dangerous contaminants to your engine are between 5 to 20 microns. These contaminants are larger than the finest tolerances in your engine, but too small for oil filters to remove, causing approximately 60 percent of wear. If these harmful contaminants are not flushed out with a quality flush product, sludge, tar, varnish and wear metals continue to circulate within the engine and accumulate in the passageways, oil pump and oil pan. After an engine is contaminated, regular oil changes do little to restore it's operating efficiency. The detergent and dispersants found in most conventional engine oils can't adequately remove these excessive amounts of contamination. The newly changed oil becomes dirty again within a short period of time, and actually helps to accelerate the formation of even more sludge and varnish. Directions for use with a flush machine: Follow manufacturer's directions. Directions for use without a flush machine: With the engine warm, check for the proper oil level and add new oil if necessary. Add one bottle of Lubegard Engine flush and circulate at idle for 5 to 10 minutes. Stop the engine and drain as usual. Allow sufficient time for the system to drain completely. Install new oil filter and refill with new engine oil in the grade and quality level recommended by the manufacturer. Add the bottle of Lubegard Bio-Tech Engine Oil protectant.

It is fast and simple, with immediate results. The power steering systems are generally only noticed when something has gone wrong. This system is one of the simplest to maintain and is also the most noticeable when something goes wrong. A power steering system is generally subject to harsh temperatures leading to fluid deterioration over time. Through constant use and high operating pressures, other types of wear materials are also generated that degrade the system. The result of this pressure and heat is fluid breakdown, contamination, loss of lubricating properties, and varnish deposits. When power steering fluid circulates throughout the system of pump and gear, it picks up wear material as well as contamination from the breakdown of aging hoses and seals. The periodic maintenance of this intricate and precise system is necessary. The directions for use without flush machine: open the power steering fluid reservoir and add one bottle of Lubegard power steering flush; do not overfill; with the vehicle in the park and the brake on, start the engine; turn the steering wheel at least 4 times all the way left and right; shut off the engine and remove the old fluid. To refill: open the power steering reservoir; add 4 fluid ounces (one bottle) of Lubegard power steering fluid protectant and top off with appropriate power steering fluid to proper level. Please refer to the vehicle manual for the proper fluid type. Do not overfill. Do not use in systems that use brake fluid.
